Naef Wiege / cradle
Naef Wiege / cradle
Bauhaus classic
Simple and scaled down, composed of two blue circles (rings), red rectangles and yellow triangles, the cradle symbolizes the Bauhaus design particularly well, because colour, form and composition were elements of Bauhaus theory. Peter Keler designed the cradle in 1922 during his apprenticeship at Bauhaus. It was part of the bedroom furniture for the model house "Am Horn". The small cradle is congruent to the original in color, shape and proportions at a of scale 1: 7, and to a large extent, has been carefully crafted by hand.
