The Stockmar opaque paint box - a product in proven Stockmar artist quality. The artfully designed paint box, made of classic metal, contains 12 water-soluble colors in easily removable paint pans. Since it is not permanently integrated into the box, the Stockmar mixing palette can be placed on the painting workstation wherever it is needed and is of course easier to clean than a paint box lid used as a palette. The Stockmar opaque paint box also contains a tube of opaque white and a high-quality, dimensionally stable cat's tongue brush made of Ponex synthetic hair, made for Stockmar by the traditional Zahn brush manufacturer. As with all Stockmar products, we used Goethe's extended color circle as a guide for the composition of the top colors. The three basic colors (primary colors) yellow, red and blue form a triangle, with the secondary colors mixed from the neighboring colors in between: green from yellow and blue, orange from yellow and red, violet from red and blue. The colors opposite each other are complementary colors - they form the greatest possible contrast to each other. If you mix the primary colors and the secondary colors together, the color wheel is expanded. For example, you mix red and violet to make red-violet, and yellow and orange to make yellow-orange. In order to increase the color spectrum and the variety of mixes, we have selected two shades of each base color (lemon yellow and golden yellow, carmine red and vermilion red, ultramarine blue and Prussian blue) for the Stockmar opaque color box. The Stockmar colors are finely coordinated and produce harmonious shades when mixed. Like all Stockmar colors, the opaque colors also have a unique luminosity. This is because the concentration of color pigments in our opaque colors is particularly high. This means that the colors are even more effective and remain colorful even when diluted very heavily. Stockmar opaque colors are suitable for various painting techniques such as opaque painting, watercolor painting, glazing painting and mixed techniques. The cover paint box is delivered in a pack of 5 in a beautifully designed outer box that has an angled opening with tear-off perforation and is therefore suitable as a counter display.
